History is redundant with examples like these. Once a nation has conquered everybody else, they turn on their own insides like an auto-immune disease and consume themselves.
Too much stability and security invariably give way to none at all.
This play would be boring if not for the occasional change of actors.

That is good reading. Very true, America is simply a beast in war conceived and thus it simply has to "roll like it rolls". Ad nauseaum, d infinitum. Pretty much like a Shark, it has to hunt & move or it will fall to the bottom like a brick, eyes all yellow and D-E-D dead.
