It is an act of aggression. A missile defense installation in Europe is tantamount to a declaration of war. If the United States can intercept Russian missiles as soon as they come out of the silos then Russia needs to install a missile defense system in Canada. All of this will lead to an unprecedented clash of interests that will make the Cuban missile crisis look like a mere spat over tariffs in comparison.

Lots of smoke and mirrors. Europe needs protection from Israeli missiles not Iranian.
Just some chest thumping. NATO would not even come to aid of one of its members when russian invaded, russians are not really worried anyway.
Tex, if Russia were to launch ICBM's at the USA, they wouldn't be going over Europe or the Atlantic. They'd go straight over the Arctic, from launch sites in Siberia.
Or they'd launch from submarines... which could be anywhere.
