Concerning the melonhead place of origin and how they spread.

"When we look for the homeland of such a long-headed, big-brained people, it is not towards the south but towards the north or northeast that we look. It may have been some country in the Mediterranean basin which was their homeland, for in late Paleolithic times people of such a type were there. More probably, however, they came from the lands between the Mediterranean and India, for, as we shall see, people ALLIED IN TYPE TO THE BIG-HEADED PREDYNASTIC EGYPTIANS are to be found buried in the early Sumerian graves of Mesopotamia."
"Or perhaps we are dealing with not science but a religious belief?"
Darwinists that don't want the current narrative challenged. There could possibly be some Christian groups, but there presence isn't strong enough in the scientific community to keep that sort of thing under wraps.
A NASA flight director has revealed that personnel on the ground knew in 2003 that the Space Shuttle Columbia would not likely survive re-entry, but chose not to inform the vessel's crew.
An objective person who knew enough about what goes on in anthropology would conclude only women can be trusted with fossils. Men will use them as a weapon, hiding them, altering them or destroying them to protect their own careers. Only females seem capable of simply digging them up, cataloging them and sharing them with their peers without engaging in absurd flim-flam.
@Garry Joe "When you build your career, your entire livelihood on an idea, you will fight tooth and nail to protect it." Appreciate that. I see it as a symptom of the same issue - misplaced pride. Pride from genuine science wouldn't create these demagogues. Nothing has really improved since Popper and Kuhn pointed these fundamental flaws.
I peeked through this site a while ago but thankfully, already having acquired myself with various readings like Lewis Mumford (Myth of the Machine), Jacques Ellul (The Technological Society) plus vault-co, I realized immediately that they are Illuminist propaganda and full of shit.
Btw, I also have reached the conclusion that the top of the world oligarchy are indeed a genetically separate species compared to the rest of humanity. However, unlike Tex, I do not regard them "brilliant" or "geniuses", on the contrary they are completely incapable of absorbing higher spiritual truths. They are just clever animals (that's why they tend towards a bestial approach of human nature - empiricism, radical behaviorism, reductionism etc.) with many intellectual limitations and their great advantage is that they are more immoral, more manipulative and more ruthless than anyone else.
@KW It is more than pride, though pride is a factor. However livelihood is something most people never think about.
These people have bills and mortgages to pay, just like everyone else.
If their ideas are found to be garbage and mocked, and they built their career around their ideas, their career will be kaput and their livelihood will go with it, since most of the paycheck establishment, can't do anything else.
So livelihood is the main source of resistance, when you go against these people.
Ask yourself, if your ability to pay your food and rent was under threat, would you be motivated to defend it? More so than pride?
@Garry Joe "Ask yourself, if your ability to pay your food and rent was under threat, would you be motivated to defend it? More so than pride?"
That ability is under threat every day. It just takes one crooked state enforcer to end that ability.
False-pride is why they defend their laurels instead of practice empirical science - it's almost hubris. Eg. Adopting a positions that an answer is infinitely correct and cannot be refined or improved. That is not science. That is ideology. The only reason that a threat to an idea would require defense is if you are an ideologue. A scientist practices science. A politician promotes ideas. I think the distinction is obvious but perhaps we just explain it how we best understand it. You explain it as a survival thing. I explain it as a psychological flaw. Both explanations are complimentary. I see your explanation as a "driver" and my explanation as a "root cause".
"However livelihood is something most people never think about." I disagree with this - most people it's all they think about. So much so they make great slaves even believing their work is freedom regardless of what kind of future they are creating for their offspring.
Oops! Now it's not just Neanderthals, Melon heads and Sapiens. Seems someone has shot a Bigfoot. I think it's for real this time. Facebook Finds Bigfoot has been trying to prove that one exists. So he might be biased so to prove they had one they brought in a skeptic who's spend years trying to disprove. He saw the body. Says it's the real thing.

You've got to laugh when you think how vehement the young earth creationists are that mankind is only ~6000 years old.

I wonder if the melon heads developed in south American and then spread to the rest of the world.

Did NASA know that Columbia was doomed?

"Darwinists that don't want the current narrative challenged."
I don't think it's even that sophisticated. It is simple misplaced pride: they don't want to face the possibility they are wrong.

It also comes down to money.

Damn Ron Paul is smart. He sees plans hidden within plans.

lol Okay man, you stick to pride, I'll stick to making a living.
It wouldn't matter what nonsense they were selling, they could find a 1000 people, willing to stand up swear it was all true, to get that free money.
Just look at global warming and all the grant money that goes into it.
It all comes down to losers that can't do anything else, making a living.
