You have to wonder what people are thinking about sometimes. Of course, your first mistake is in assuming they ever really "think" about anything.
Any man talking about taking the means of self-defense away from his fellow man is either a sociopath or a repressed homosexual. That's from Sigmund Freud and it was a dominant psychological idea well into the 1960's. If you're a gun grabber, which one of these are you? There are two options to choose from.

True about men. Regarding women, they are nowadays, in their vast majority, against weapons.
Those who are rich, or have been raped, think otherwise.
I've always said that aside from the cravens, the only other people who want defenceless neighbours or communities are those who secretly dream of raping and pillaging them or becoming their lords and masters. Why else would you be so keen to see them helpless? What advantage would that convey unless you were frightened of them fighting back against YOU? Normal men would sleep more soundly knowing that there is a community of armed men ready to send a message to those who would steal from them or rape the women.
Yeah check out an Ontario Canada man who was recently charged with careless use of a firearm, after three masked men fire bombed his home, and it was caught on CCTV. The prosecutor wanted him put in jail. What the hell is going on in our society, when someone's rights to protect themselves are circumvented by over educated metro sexuals. This goes against basic human rights to survival.

He fired a warning shot, which I think was a very measured response. The prosecutor wanted him put in jail. What the hell is going on in our society, when someone's rights to protect themselves are circumvented by over educated metro sexuals. This goes against basic human rights to survival. Attempted to burning a man's home down requires more than a warning shot.

Clearly shows what the prosecutor thoguht was the greater crime! And people think that it's insance to attribute this to a concerted agenda!
