Mass media continues to try to stage manage these events in isolation, failing to see the worldwide pattern in renewed volcanism. It's so obvious now even the sheeple should see it.
Popular culture teaching that seismic monitoring is something new when in fact seismic sensors have been online for the past 100 years continuously worldwide. It's the unprecedented seismic activity they should be worried about but being bears of little brain they try to shift it to unprecedented seismic monitoring. About as bright as a shiny red button. For Sapiens it's always about the personalities and the perception management. Supervolcanos blowing scarcely merits their attention until they've got the pyroclastic cloud in their lungs.

Tex, c'mon. We haven't refined the science of predicting volcano eruptions and earthquakes.
Even if we're experiencing unprecedented seismic activity (and I'm taking your word on that), our records only go back 100 years or so.
I know you're eager for the world's destruction, but we really don't have patterns we can fall back upon and cite to predict with any likelihood that we're on the precipice of an extinction event.

Of course that is what I actually believe. It's not that I disbelieve extinction events can happen. It's that we don't have enough data to predict them with any precision.
I'll let you disprove that, though. Predict which super volcano is going to blow this year? Or predict which area in North America is going to be hit with huge earthquake this year.
