If globalwarmthinkery fails, what's next in line to generate mass hysteria to be used to force world government? A fake alien attack from outer space? As Vault-Co has mentioned before, it's a possibility.

It's a projection on the Ionosphere, look up the patents pending.. cool light show, also go back to Von Braun's last theory..
FTA: "A giant light spiral in the sky has stunned onlookers in Norway, raising fears of an alien attack..."
Yeah, because that's always the first thing I fear when I see a light in the sky: ALIEN INVADERS.
Wtf. It almost sounds like they're trying to introduce this concept to the public in that vague, Orwellian, 'it-was-always-there-you-just-don't-remember' sort of way they have. Bizarre.
Spot on. Why would they not have plan B, C and D all ready if they've already engaged plan A? I noticed recently that the Catholic church was given a prod to come out of the blue about the possibility of baptising extra terrestrial life! Speaking of blue, NASA's "Project Blue Bean anyone"?
Project Blue Beam. I used to think it was funny...just like operation northwood. Like I used to think Al Gore would just retire and be happy playing dress up in Tippers hand me downs on the weekend or whatever globalist nut jobs do in private...
I think the spiral image is a type of "chafe" package designed to prevent an ABM from taking out the missile. In other words an anti - anti balistic missile system. The Russians have said that they have the capability to nullify the ABM systems and I believe this is part of that system.
Previous post, that's a very interesting idea. I can see how that could be a sort of low tech ABM defense that would assure good intercepts with some kind of spiral is created in front of an incoming missile that destroys it as it passes through. Accuracy becomes less of an issue and just getting it in the ballpark (in front of?) the ICBM will stop it.
I just developed this theory yesterday. I believe the missile was a small (much smaller than a Bulava) missile designed to produce an umbrella that will allow a swarm of ICBM's to launch underneath and get past the initial boost phase where they are susceptible to the airborne laser system.
The spiral effect could be the result of the ordnance reaching the predetermined height and dispersing particles from a rotating dispenser.
Chafe has been an effective anti-missile strategy for fifty years and it's the exact kind of low tech response you would expect from the Russians. The Americans have been trying to use computers to hit a needle in a haystack with another needle. Better to blow up the haystack with everything inside.

Watched the movie "The Road" yesterday. I hadn't read the book, but I was familiar with it's premise.
I'll sum it up as a zombie apocalypse made for the arthouse movie goers. Found it a bit too syrupy and sappy at times. Perhaps I'm too cynical.
Fistol, that's what I thought. A projection designed to attract attention.

The world has gone mad.
the idea of the satanists using the threat from attacking aliens was published in nexus magazine some 7 years ago.
terrorism, pandemics, global warming, aliens, earth bound giant comets etc were mentioned from memory.

That makes more sense than any other explanation I have heard for this spiral. I think you are onto something there.
