The holidays are over. Time to cash in the chips. Nobody wants to play this game anymore.
The West stares into the abyss.
Fiat currency doesn't work. It never did. It never will.
The only way anybody has ever found to stimulate a fiat currency once it has failed is to start a war. It's the only solution to an impossible situation.

Futures are waaay down for Europe. Asian market tanked again last night.
Either there a succesful intervention and the market gets yet another rate cut (destroying the dollar) or we could be looking at mass panic and posssible bank runs.
What an interesting day it will be.
