Excellent practical advice from a guy who knew it was coming back in 1957. He may have been a little too early but he wasn't too late.

Another very interesting read from the 1950s, if only to see how much more resilient people were back then.
"Most important is a conviction that each of us must keep before him: Come what may, the world will continue in its orbit, peopled by human beings who will carry on the civilization so painfully evolved through the ages."
Quite a different tune from what people are singing these days.
