Yitzhak Rabin was not some armchair warrior like the Neocons. He was the first native-born Israeli to become Prime Minister, very significant. It is likely his loyalty was to his land and the people who lived there and not the Rothschild agendas.

He was a warrior and a soldier who saw real combat, fought hard and beat the enemy. He valued his country because he had seen what it can cost to keep it. He was a superb diplomat and statesman who decided the best long term solution was to give up on the ever-ambiguous borders of ersatz Israel (the Rothschild strategy) and to be the first man in Israeli history to take a magic marker and draw the borders and then tell anybody who didn't like it to GTFO. That's what his negotiations with the Palestinians were all about. He was sane and he knew the future would only get better when Israel could tell the international community where their property lines were. You can't be a nation if you say your nation is everywhere including where other people have nations now. It doesn't work that way, it leads to endless conflict. You could explain it to a child and Rabin was good at explaining it to Israelis.

So they killed him. Then they threw the barn doors open and every gammy-eyed lunatic rushed into Israeli politics, it was a true circus of nuts and ranters. That's the way it has been ever since. With cartoon pictures of bombs and intern groping and people who look through binoculars with the lens caps still on ... nothing ... makes ... sense in this country ever since. It's the Maccabees all over again and they keep insisting they've got it all under control, they know what they are doing.

They don't ... but Rabin did. He was a good man in the authentic fashion. A lot of those guys have died at the hands of people who weren't fit to shine their boots nowadays. Too many upright people have passed away and been replaced by fools who have more confidence than they do brains.

What Happened To Peak Oil?

I was making fun of these Peak Oil and Fossil Fuel nuts a decade ago on their own forums.

You should see the coal veins here in Australia. They stretch for hundreds upon hundreds of miles. Enough cheap energy to tide us over for a couple thousand years if we had sane people as leadership. We could gradually phase it out and replace it with thorium depending on how long it takes to gravitate to that industry.

We don't have sane people as leaders. While they blather on about ephemera as meaningless as Catholic purgatory the world lurches towards WW3 with blinders on.

There is no energy crisis. There's just Saudi bank accounts and they did well telling people oil was limited and came from dead dinosaur bones.

The Russians ran hot steam through their old wells and they were shortly thereafter producing the same yields they had in the beginning. They weren't running dry, they were just clogged. Some sort of abiotic hydrocarbon reaction produced by pressure or heat in the earth makes oil. Sometimes it gets polluted with old biological matter when they are pumping it out. That is a contaminant but has nothing to do with its origins.

I think a lot of these fake crises that people focus their neurotic anxieties on are a displacement for their real fears and they tend to be drawn towards milquetoast threats they can cope with. Most men and women nowadays can't think about things like nuclear war, too scary and they are too low on testosterone to demonstrate any martial virtues. So they displace their fears onto cheesy crap like Peak Oil and globowarmthinkery. The effeminate alternative to real apocalyptic threats. If you don't believe me just try bringing up the real world with a lot of these people. They go pale and sweaty like they have seen a ghost. Most of them can't cope even with fake neurotic manufactured crises.
