The terrible irony of the last days of Rome was that they were snuffing out the temple fires at night when they were most needed to fight the rising tide of lawlessness because they were gripped by an idea that in retrospect seems marvelously stupid. The Romans were convinced the oily soot that went up from temple fires at night was drifting down on their crops and was responsible for their poor harvests and repeated famines. They got the question wrong, the answer was even worse and the solution was the dumbest of all. None of it was within a million miles of their real problem - a simple failure to rotate crops and let fields lie fallow to regenerate as Roman farmers had been doing previously for centuries.

I remember the guy who lived across the street from me in California, who was so blasted in his brain tissue he used to say to me, "It's for the best! We all deserve to die for our numerous special crimes that nobody has committed but us! Surrendering this country to foreign invasion is the right thing to do! You're evil for thinking otherwise!"

2009 : California Officially Concedes It Is Bankrupt
Oh sure, people used to say ... maybe in 2040 or 2060, California could go broke.
Vault-Co has been saying for ten years that California was living on nothing but letters of credit and debt shuffling. The reality is that it was broke many years ago but only now they have been forced to admit it publicly.
Multiculturalism and it's cult of mindless followers doesn't work. It has never worked. It cannot create and foster a stable, law abiding society which lives within it's means. The only way that people were able to play "let's pretend" about multiculturalism is by ignoring their accumulating debt and denying the simple realities of human existence. It's important to point out that under the madness of multiculturalism, the only leaders you get are the pathetic incompetent assholes willing to pretend it does work, when in fact, it doesn't. It represents a lowering of standards across the board and serves to protect fools from their own folly.

Gun Control Laws = Dead Law Abiding People
Criminals are greatly emboldened to the point of mania when they know there is no danger of the other guy shooting back. Worrying about getting arrested for doing things against the law is what law abiding people worry about, not criminals.
The only strong deterrent to man's brutal and savage nature is the threat that other people can hurt you back as easily as you can hurt them. In market terms, potential risks provide a very strong penalty against certain kinds of behaviour and force market players to think more carefully about their actions. Where there is no penalty the ravening wolves that are hatched from the human gene pool feel no restrictions on acting on their impulses.
Just like in Britain, incidents are increasing daily in this vein despite best efforts of the idiots in goverment to spin them or cover them up. They will escalate until eventually there is a state of anarchy where formerly honest men kept civilization through arms.
